Roman, the owner of Slither Strings and Snakejam Studios in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a talented musician as well as a professional sound and recording engineer. Roman is also a composer and professional video editor – work for which led him to be nominated for an Emmy.
Snakejam Studios was originally located in New York prior to moving to Nevada. It is the third studio that Roman built using his skill and experience in acoustical design and environmental sound control techniques. It was 1998 when Roman built his first successful studio, and he has been admired by the artists for his professionalism and for providing them with privacy and good service.
As a musician, Roman’s love of the art is apparent in everything he does. He began studying and playing the piano at just 5 years old. He learned to play bass guitar at 12 and was playing the trombone when he was 14 years old. At 16 years of age, Roman was already a professional musician and he began performing with the group “Arthur” in the Columbine Company. He then performed with Jazz X in the mid 1990’s that played all the New York jazz clubs at the time.
Arthur Cunningham was Roman’s mentor. As a world-renowned composer and jazz performer, Arthur crossed the musical styles of classical and jazz piano. During Roman’s youth, he only studied jazz, listened to jazz, and played jazz. At this time, his base influencers were also Jaco Pastorius and John Patitucci. It was not until later in life that Roman became interested in the more modern sounds of rock and pop music.
Reaching adulthood, Roman attended Fairleigh Dickinson University and studied at the Berklee College of Music. He graduated from Hofstra University and went on to study further at the New School Guitar Study Center in New York City.
In 1995, Roman went to work for Electra records and performed for several domestic and international tours. During this time he played on over 30 albums for various artists. Upon deciding that the work as a session musician was not his greatest passion, Roman returned to the commitment of performing with groups and during tours. He has provided his musical performing talents to Brainchild, Emiko, Foxy Brown, and Bloodroot. More recently, Roman lends his skills to other regularly performing bands such as Bravo Delta, Midnight Clover, and Too Close for Missiles.
As a professional bass and guitar player, Roman has had his experience with many brands of strings. After years of buying strings from other companies, he made up his mind to offer his own brand of durable guitar strings. Roman’s main goal is to offer top-quality strings to players that need strength and good tone. He searched to find the best string manufacturer in the country to make his strings as he wants them. After all, every great player loves having a fresh set of strings.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Talented rock guitarist Brandon Davis works hard and loud as front man and guitarist for Bravo Delta, and on lead guitar for Conflict of Interest.
Bravo Delta is a modern active hard rock band in Las Vegas that has grown a fan base throughout the country. When asked the meaning behind the name Bravo Delta, lead singer and guitarist Brandon Davis said, “It represents a company, a family, a single unit of four people down in the trenches, fighting, struggling, and working together towards the same goal… similar to the Delta and Charlie companies in the U.S. Army.”
Bravo Delta has shared stages with bands such as Nothing More, P.O.D., Saliva, Powerman 5000, Otherwise, Alien Ant Farm, Orgy, and more.
Conflict of Interest gained attention in 2009 when the band won the “Rock The Roof” battle of the bands at Diablo’s on the Las Vegas Strip. With vocalist Mike Stanley, guitarist Brandon Davis, bassist Brian Foster, and drummer Josh Garcia – the band made their way onto radio stations in Las Vegas and beyond. Their song “No Mercy” was seen and heard by millions when it was picked up by the San Francisco 49ers as part of their “Quest For Six” campaign in 2012 & 2013. “No Mercy” was featured on the 49ers website and played live at all their home games. No stranger to the road, Conflict Of Interest has toured and shared stages with bands such as Adelitas Way, Rob Zombie, All That Remains, In This Moment, Sick Puppies, and many others. Conflict of Interest became the first all-original band to secure a residency at House Of Blues in Las Vegas.

'I love Slither Strings! I have been using their coated Texas Rattlerz (.11 thru .49) for the last year... I'm not breaking as many strings and I can really tell the difference in how long they last and still sound great!' »CLICK FOR ARTIST INFOABOUT THE ARTIST
Slither Strings is proud to include Johnny Moeller to our artist roster! Johnny plays for The Fabulous Thunderbirds and the Severn Records House Band.
A professional American Blues guitarist, Johnny Moeller, had his first exposure to music in the home, as his father played piano and was always listening to music. Johnny was born in Fort Worth, Texas and started playing guitar in his early teens. During the summers Johnny and his half-brother Jay Moeller, who was already playing drums (and was the drummer with The Fabulous Thunderbirds), traveled around to play in Denton, Austin, and Dallas and Fort Worth.
Over the years Johnny Moeller’s main influences have been from Freddie King, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Earl King and Grant Green to a wide variety of soul, funk and rock artists. He had joined The Fabulous Thunderbirds in 2007 and has recorded and toured in North America, Europe, and Scandinavia.
Some of his work includes “Return of the Funky Worm” – a 1996 Dallas Blues Society Records release that he and friend Paul Size (later of the Red Devils Blues Band) collaborated on. Johnny and Paul also worked with Mick Jagger on his still-unreleased album of traditional blues. He also released “Johnny’s Blues Aggregation” on Dallas Blues Society Records in 2001 and “Bloogaloo” on Severn Records in 2010.

'I really like the tone of these strings. They have great bottom end with the low B and just enough brightness to balance it all out. I have been playing bass guitar since I was 14 years old. Over the years I’ve played with several bands. I’ve played everything from Punk Rock to Spiritual Gospel.
After a short 8 years in the Army I came back to the music scene and started playing with a few cover bands. In 2018 I was fortunate enough to get the job as the bassist for the Dixie Red band. With Dixie Red we play a mixture of Southern Rock and Country. We are currently working on our first EP and playing shows across Alabama and Georgia.
